Fun in science with Prep K.

In science we are looking at life cycles and how things grow and change.

We started with our seeds. Look at some of the successes that we have had growing mustard seeds, in plastic bags hanging on strings in the window. We also have beans growing keeping close track on their progress.

We had such fun making our own worm farms, and looking for their 'worm tracks' through the dirt. They love eating food scraps and make great soil for the gardens.

Learning all about the life cycles of frogs was amazing. Do pop into our room to read the reports that we have written about the life cycles of frogs.

Sean Morphitt

Mr Morphitt has been working with our grade in for the last four weeks. We have done lots of interesting things and learned a lot. Making the worm farms were such fun, and learning all about frogs too. We really liked the interactive whiteboard and hope that Mrs Krake will use it more too. Thanks Mr Morphitt for all you did with us. We all wish you luck in your teaching career.
