WANGARATTA WEST'S CHRISTMAS SERVICE.

We had a fantastic time this morning as it was our school's End of Year Service. We were shown the Christmas Story, where Mary and Joseph went to Bethlehem and Baby Jesus was born in a stable.

Madeleine's sister Ebony was Mary, and Daniel was Joseph.

Cameron was the Arch Angel Gabriel.

Miss Will's must be congratulated on an amazing production. The whole performance was done to music. We had to listen carefully to the words of the songs that the choir sang to hear the story. They were all so wonderful that we can not wait until we are big enough to join the choir too.

Mr Campbell was the compere, so his job was to introduce everyone.

Our wonderful Mrs Fisher got a special award for teaching RE to Preps for the last ten years. That means that she has taught all the children in our school now, as well as some in the High School!

Rose read us a lovely story about a wombat who really wanted to be in a Christmas play too, but he was always wrong for the part, until at the end, they decided that he would make the perfect Baby Jesus. Mrs Sibley's job was to turn the pages and to hold up the book so that we could see the pictures.

This is a part where the angels came to tell the shepherds that Baby Jesus had been born in a stable.

The shepherds looked really scared when they first saw the angles.

The Three Wise Kings were so cool. We just loved thier clothes which were very shiny and colourful. Mrs Krake was a spot too slow with the camera though!

After the Service we had our own presentation for Mrs Fisher to say "Thank you" too, for all her wonderful work. Bailey gave Mrs Fisher a little gift from all the Preps at Wangaratta West.
